- 5 times Why – a problem solving technique designed to help companies uncover the root cause of a problem.
- Data cleansing- sometimes needed to get a clear picture of the data quality which is needed to set up the workflow in MES. The automation of chaos will lead to a less lean MES workflow.
- Create a good flow in MES – the flow in MES must be workable for everyone, from the production shop floor up to and including quality input. Workshops with parties involved can be held to make sure every aspect of the business is covered.
- Strive for perfection – the design will be build and considered perfect when all parties agree with the final design of the workflow.
